THERAPY

Feeling stuck?

If you feel like someone juggling one too many plates in your day to day life, perhaps it’s time to make a change.

Maybe you feel like you don’t know where to start, but you know you have to begin somewhere. Therapy can be that first step towards less stress and more support.

Wondering If Now Is The Right Time To Start Therapy?

Have you been considering seeing a therapist for a while? The decision to start therapy is yours alone, and it’s okay to have mixed feelings!

Therapy can bring up nerves, but know that at the heart of it, talking to a therapist is simply a conversation where you’re allowed to feel whatever feelings come up. It’s a journey of self-discovery, filled with all sorts of emotions – yes, even the fun and uplifting ones. Think of it as some quality ‘me-time’. After all, if you’re investing energy anywhere, why not in yourself?

If you feel ready, please reach out.

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

B.Comm., MBA, MACP (in progress)

Hi, I’m Christine

I started Momentym Therapy to help those struggling with work/life balance issues, anxiety, depression, parenting challenges, career stress, and late ADHD diagnosis.

When you’re struggling, it can feel impossible to move forward. When you’re struggling, it can leave you questioning who you are.

Momentym Therapy supports you to give yourself a moment, to discover your why, and to find your momentym.

About Me

I’ve always been a true explorer. Whether travelling, playing tourist in my own city, attending music festivals, diving into a book, or scrolling on my couch, discovery is my thing.

From the Boardroom to the Therapy Space

For over a decade, I was deep into the world of corporate coaching and motherhood. And while I loved both roles, I discovered a pattern emerging in my personal and professional life. The mental and emotional well-being of my corporate clients and those around me frequently surfaced during conversations, whether talking about workloads or the mother-load. And one theme was loud and clear: people were struggling.

And then life threw me a curve ball in 2019 when my husband had a significant and life changing injury. Soon after, the world came to a screeching halt, and I also ended up receiving an ADHD diagnosis. Having a therapist during those tumultuous times was a beacon for me and my family. Their support, understanding, and guidance were transformative. Now, I hope to help others, because I truly understand how much it can mean to receive support during difficult times.

This realization and my personal mental health journey led me back to school, aiming to delve deeper and support the mental health of people like you in a way that could get at the heart of things.

That brings us here to this moment.

Here’s the thing, though. I can tell you that I am a qualifying member in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CPRO #14366), a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA), and a member of CADDRA - the Canadian ADHD Resource Alliance (all true, BTW!), but it is up to you now to take the first step towards building your momentym.

What will virtual therapy look like?

Your therapy sessions with me? Tailored to you. I believe all clients are unique and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to mental health. As such, I practice an integrative mental health from a trauma-informed and neurodiverse-affirming approach to incorporate different perspectives, approaches, and interventions that work for you.

Whether it's structured problem-solving or diving into deeper emotions and mindfulness, I'm equipped with diverse approaches to resonate with your unique journey.
